   Agree with most of what you say Paul, so I will restrict myself to a few points:
   1. As you say the ref was laughably bad. I’m not sure how the ref and assistants decide which types of fouls the assistant can flag for, and haw close they have to be. There were certainly a few incidents in the first half when the assistant should have clearly seen Willock, Bagan or Moylan tugged by the shirt but mystifyingly kept his flag down!
   2. I briefly spoke with a couple of Charlton fans at a bar after the game, who admitted they were poor today, and one of them feared relegation already (a touch pessimistic after 8 games, especially as they’re already 5 points ahead of us)!
   3. Nathan Jones is generally good entertainment in his post-match interviews. My favourite comment of his was – “I don’t want to throw anyone under the bus, but the two I subbed at half-time weren’t having the best of games”.
   4. One pertinent point Jones did make though was that although Charlton were clearly second best all over the park, they did have three very big chances to score, and I fear we would have been punished by a better side, despite our overall domination.
   5. While their keeper was probably our opponents POM (again), I’d say most of our players were ahead of him for overall POM (thankfully).
   6. While there was general relief that we finally achieved the win many of our performances have deserved, there’s still much work to do I feel if we want to climb the league.
   7. After his brilliant goal today, fingers crossed the international break gives Yousef Salech sufficient time to recover from the shoulder injury that forced his withdrawal at the end.
