Thank you, Paul, and yes, the Bolton goalkeeper did better than he was expected to, but that was mainly because most of our attempts to score were incompetent and often with the ball sent towards him .. normally when a team has most of the build-up play game after game, for seven games, but still fails to win, the “coach” would be expected to understand that it was time for him to leave and try something else. And players claiming to be ‘forwards’ or ‘attacking midfielders’ who game after game fail to shoot and score any goals should not be paid as ‘forwards’ or ‘attacking midfielders’ – well, shouldn’t be paid at all!
