There’s always a chance that teams at this level will field the occasional trialist at this stage of the season and yesterday Tom Rosenthal (see here with his father Ronnie) wore the number ten shirt for City.
Twenty year old Tom was on the books of Watford and Belgian team S.V. Zulte Waregem, before joining QPR and is currently without a club. He forced visiting keeper Jake Eastwood into two of the series of saves he had to make and may have done enough to have earned a second opportunity to impress the City hierarchy.
