  1. Dai Woosnam says:

Friday evening, Paul, and I have just heard that Fraizer has gone.
Goodbye to a wonderfully committed player who ran and ran.
But also it’s goodbye to a striker who lacked that vital ice in the veins.
I would not even back Fraizer to be a serial scorer even for Newport County.
Hopefully Adam Le Fondre – while lacking the brilliant running of the channels that Fraizer made his hallmark – can show the clear-headed precision that will be vital if Cardiff are to do well next season.
Thanks as ever for the above article.
I am a little worried they will pay to much for the Portuguese boy at Southampton. And at 30, he cannot have too many years left in him.
I would be tempted to start the season with a “perm any two centre backs from” Hudson, Turner, Connolly – and pity they have loaned him out – Nugent.
    Kindest,
    Dai.

  2. The other Bob Wilson says:

Thanks Dai. You’d like to think we have the strikers at the club to cover Campbell’s departure (especially if Kenwyne Jones’ “renaissance” can stretch to competitive matches). As for the centreback situation, I’ve mentioned that in my reply to James and Mike’s messages, I reckon we’ll stick with what we got because Ole seems prepared to wait for Fonte and/or Keane.
