    Thanks Paul seems the youngsters have a lot of up and down results always wonder when the first team is doing well how they engage with that .

    It’s good to know they are attempting to move forward with a passing game albeit as you say it can result in a defeat ,continuing the first team have won any game on pocession this,guess the learning point is yes pass keep pocession but hit the net of provide a threat further up the field than say a Trollope type of game .

    I always say it’s easier to incorporate players who can pass the ball well into a more direct game plan, than asking players used to a long ball game to suddenly start playing like a 2011 Barcelona team Russell. Truth is though, we did not pass the ball well on Saturday and, in some ways, Burnley offered the sort of challenge to their opponent that City did to Wolves – when you throw in the score in both games as well, it was a little like getting a preview of what was to happen a few hours later at Molineux.
