Another Sunday and another News of the World High Court hearing story.

Given that I have already covered the Sam Hammam returns story, this was going to be a very short weekly summing up of Cardiff City related events this week. It still will be short, but the good old News of the World has given us another scare with their latest exclusive telling of the possibility of a further date in the High Court for non payment of taxes (this time it’s 11 August over a £1.3 million debt to HMRC). Depressingly, it’s off field matters that are dominating at Cardiff City yet again and the notion that any money received for players sold (the Joe Ledley saga is still dragging on with Celtic, worryingly, seemingly not yet out of the race for our now out of contract midfielder) would be made available to Dave Jones for team strengthening gets more fanciful by the day,
